Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Getting a World Traveller Plus instead of Club World amenity kit?

  • 63 posts

We are off to the Bahamas soon and will no doubt be getting the CW Amenity Kit. We have loads of these little bags which are pretty useless.

Would the crew swap one out for the much nice looking World Traveller Plus kit?

    Cheers

Thanks, I’ll ask when we get in board. In I am know it’s not important but those CW bags just end up gathering dust but we’d actually use the PE ones.

    Cheers

I too have loads of CW bags gathering dust. I’m curious, what’s in the PE ones ?

Was just about to post the same link.

The CW bags are just to small and rigid to be of any real use whereas the PE pouch look much more practical.

I really liked the old Elemis kits as that bag was great and still gets used for shoes

I don’t recall ever getting one of those in WTP!

Came back from Atlanta in WTP last week and didn’t get any amenity kit

The PE pouch is almost single use felty material, despite the zip, I wouldn’t imagine they will last long being used once you take them off the flight.

Was going to say the PE pouch is naff. Won’t last long

I do use my Iberia J bag a lot as it’s stretchy and well built.

I have had my PE bag for several years. I store my travel pharmacy in there. It is not open and closed regularly but it has lasted very well and I think will probably last me several more years. I agree it is much more useful than the CW bag. It might be felt but it is definitely far from single use.

I like the current PE pouch. Have been using one from last June on a regular basis, like @Reney, to carry plasters, ibuprofen and other small loose first aid bits and pieces around whenever I’m travelling.
