GGL joker expiration for newbie

All things being equal I should qualify for GGL for the first time in the middle of next month. My old tier point year end is Oct 8th. My question is around expiration of the 2 jokers that are issued once I qualify. Will these expire at the end of my current year, (so in Oct 24), the end of the new aligned year (Mar 25) or another date all together!

Also, if I use them to book anything before they expire, am I right this will keep them “live” and I can then change those bookings for another route and date after the original expiry date?

I have a feeling that you’ll get 2 which are valid until October, another 2 in October that’ll be valid until March, and assuming you’ve got enough TPs in the overlap year another set in April

Jokers expire at the start of your next qualifying year

So you are correct they will expire in October, then March (April 1st) and then so on

You are also correct that you can park them – tell GGL that is what you want to do
