Unlikely to be able to make a great redemption stay and looking to gift it to a friend/family.
Has anyone tried out the new T&Cs that allows you to call up marriott support and apply new guest names (both guests won’t be yourself) to the booking? Specifically any issues at check in? Want to avoid any misunderstanding/confusion as its very remote.
I did ring last week and made a booking for my in-laws. The advisor knew what I asked for and did it in 5 mins. I got the confirmation email, but showing the booking as Additional Guest: “My mother in law” No main guest name mentioned. Booking is for August so unable to say how checkin goes.
