Hi
I’m currenlty Gold and will retain Gold for 2025/6.
So assuming ( and I know it’s not really known yet)a “soft landing”, will be silver 26/7.
Wont be able to spend enough in 25/6 to retian Gold 26/7.
But if I will automatically be silver for 26/7 is there any point me bothering to get any status points for 25/6?
I’m really confused.
Any help gratefully received
If you won’t get enough nTP to retain Gold, then no need to get nTP for Silver if you are happy to wait and see if there’s soft landing to Silver in 2026.
I think you’ve answered your own question. _If_ you get a soft landing then you have nothing to gain by chasing TP.
If you don’t get a soft landing and are likely to be within reach of qualifying for Silver then consider what it would cost to qualify in your own right.
No one here knows whether soft landings will continue or not.
simply fly with the basr value , most convenient airline and take what comes
