It looks like there’s been a few changes for Gold members:
– Gold for life is back, after 7,500 TPs and 10 consecutive years of Gold status. This is a shift from the previous ten years of (non-consecutive, I believe) Gold, but easier than the Million Miler requirement. This is mentioned at https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/eu/en/flying-club/members/membership-tiers/gold-benefits.html.
– Upper Class Wing access is now confirmed to be available for Golds and a guest, irrespective of cabin, so long as they’re using a VS or KL service on the same day. This probably provides reciprocity with the new Delta One experience (‘experience’ is definitely one word for it!) at JFK T4. This is mentioned at https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/upper-class-cabin-and-seats/clubhouse-airport-lounge/london-heathrow-clubhouse/upper-class-wing.html.
That’s good they’ve put it in writing about the UC Wing access, settles that long discussion we had a few weeks ago when Rob reviewed the Wing and said it was for ticketed UC only.
Typo there. You mean using a VS or DL (not KL) service.

You’re right – sorry about that!
