Group booking – one passenger wants to use Avios points on the booking

I’m going to be making a booking for a group – one of the group is an EX member and want’s to use some of his avios towards the booking to reduce the cosr of his flight. Is this possible or does he need to make his own booking ?

Unless he’s paying for everyone he needs to make his own booking if he wants to reduce the cost of his flight.

And do you actually mean a group booking – it’s something specific for more than 9 people in economy, and I don’t think you can use avios at all.
