Hi, I have some guest of Honor awards to gift. If you’d like one send me an email with membership number
Dan747flyer at hotmail.com
Very generous Dan.
For clarity, these must be used by 28th February – this is the ‘stay by’ date and not ‘book by’.
You will get full Globalist perks including a standard suite upgrade (if available at check in).
@dan747flyer – As Rob says, very generous, I am sure Someone with a stay by the end of February will appreciate your offer.
I have some that run to February 2026 too

Hi @dan747flyer that’s very kind of you. I’ve got a stay next week which it would be handy for and have sent you an email from my wife’s email address. Thanks!

Hi @dan747flyer- I’ve just emailed you with my details for two stays coming up soon. So kind of you and I’ll be very grateful to receive any. Thank you!
I suspect I already know the answer, but does Guest of Honour apply only to a single room, or all rooms on a booking?
Got upcoming stay in Phuket next week — anyone else would be so kind to give away GoH please?
Short notice notice I know but have a couple of GoH awards that expire before end of Feb 2025 if anyone can use them?

Also, if anyone wants to gift me a GoH award with a Feb 2026 expiry, it would be gratefully received 🙂
I could use a GoH award by the end of the month if you still have one available?
You can email me: hotel (at) *myusername* dot CO dot UK

Does ‘Guest of Honour’ add anything over and above a booking via Emyr? If so, can they be booked together?

Don’t know about GoH on an Emyr booking but I did apply a Club Access award on an Emyr booking by phoning the line. Very easy to do. The benefits of using a GoH may potentially be marginal on an Emyr booking as a lot of the benefits are duplicated, so could be a waste of a GoH though the Hotel may treat you like a super VIP. Basically a globalist on a prive rate. Though they can tell the difference between a globalist and GoH I believe. I presume GoH grants club lounge access a prive booking wouldn’t? But using the club access award was worth it as I didn’t have that on a prive rate by Emyr
Cheeky ask, does anyone have any expiring GoHs they are willing to part with? I am travelling next week 🙂
@mzb – for your benefit and info for anyone else, any live GoH likely have a Feb26 expiry. I hesitate to write for all but I suspect chances of one being gifted this early in ’25 year are slim.
Always worth a shot though!
Thanks for clarifying @BSI978. That certainly sets the right expectation 😀
Looking for a GoH voucher for next month if anyone has a spare please. It is for the mother in law. Help me get in her good books
There are a lot available on eBay:
It’s actually a decent deal. Breakfast alone (1 day for 2 people) will pretty much save you the cost of the certificate and then you’ve got 4pm check-out, usually an excellent upgrade etc.
@Rob – little surprised to see you flagging the eBay link. I’m sure I recall mention (perhaps from you?) that Hyatt were cranking down on this type of thing as the gifting of awards etc was only supposed to be to ‘known’ individuals/associates.
Wouldn’t the sale via this medium put ones membership, and thus existing points/awards at risk?
How come this eBay seller can have so many of these to sell as well as elite benefits in other programmes?

I’ve got a stay booked in Thailand where we have a suite booked which has club access already. Does anyone know if there’s any value to anything else we may get if we were to go down the ebay route?
