I’ll be making a points booking for a night or two in Glasgow. I’ve found the Hampton decent, but never stayed in the Doubletree – is the Doubletree worth 25% more points? I’m a gold member.
Sorry about the similar questions! Making lots of Hilton points bookings at the moment
Well the DT rooms are slightly nicer, but depends how much the 25% is… how much time are you planning to spend in the room/hotel and if you choose the Hampton what would you do with the points saved?
IMO the Hampton’s breakfast is one of the better ones out of UK Hamptons, while the DT’s breakfast is not so good compared to other UK DTs. The DT does have a lounge which is (from what I’ve been told) reasonably good for a Hilton lounge in 2023, but not sure you would get in as Gold
