Hello,
Does anyone have a recommendation for international lounge in Hanoi?
I’ve searched reviews but not found many comparisons / reviews hinting at which is best.
I have access to all three and think it is between:
Song Hong Business Lounge
Vietnam Airlines Business Lounge
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I was just in Hanoi Airport two weeks ago. Don’t remember the name of the lounge, but it was the one for pretty much all Airlines except Vietnam (I was flying Qatar).
Average lounge. Large selection of foods, although average quality. OK selection of liquors, and a few wines. Lounge itself was OK. Lots of seating available, quiet.
I’d say possibly Vietnam Airlines lounge would be much better, given its one of their home hubs.
Thanks, yeah I think yours must have been the Song Hong one. Might give the Vietnam airlines one a go – as you say it might be better as a hub lounge. Not the end of the world if not.
The VN lounges in SGN and HAN are fine in terms of comfort as there are plenty of comfortable if rather tired armchairs, but while there is a substantial food offering, it mostly looks like it has been hanging around a long time which makes it rather unappealing and the drinks offering is quite basic. It’s a lot better than the main concourse, but don’t expect anything too fancy or to make the lounge an alternative to lunch or dinner.
