Two of us flying from LHR to Reykjavik in April in Club World, nonflexible (“lowest”) fare, returning again in Club World to LHR.
That’s 320 Tier Points in total, right? Does it also count as four eligible flights?
You would get more answers with a more detailed question! I’m not sure how you get 4 eligible flights from that. You would have to take 4 sectors yourself on BA metal for it to count towards status. Also sounds a lot of tier points – even CW to the Caribbean only comes in around that level.
You’ll get 80×2 tier points and two eligible flights on two BAEC accounts. You can’t credit two peoples flights to one account.

It’s 160 tier points each (80 each way), just 2 sectors and you will be in Club Europe, not World.

That would be awesome if you could credit other people’s flights – I’d be gold by now!

I used the BA Tier Point calculator it’s 80 each way, but two lots of return tickets so I did 80 x 4.
Oh so even if I book and pay for my partner’s flights through my account and card only my booking counts for the points?
What about the avios?
You need to add your partner’s BA Executive Club number to the booking so that they can also get avios and tier points.
Avios, like tier points, go your account and theirs. What matters is who’s flying, not who paid for the flight.- This reply was modified 54 years, 8 months ago by .
The passenger gets the Avios & Tier Points regardless of who books or pays for ticket. You could open a BAEC account for your partner & create a household account (HHA) which would then pool Avios so you could both essentially use each other’s. You can also book a ticket for someone else using your Avios without creating a HHA.
There is no workaround for the Tier Points.
As mentioned it’s also Club Europe to Reykjavik so don’t be expecting a flat bed & in flight entertainment.
