I know the call centres are problematic but I want to book a trip to California October 2023 half term. Looking at availability an open jaw trip is the only way to get there and back within the dates. I gave a FTV with a 2-4-1 embedded so wanted to tap into others recent experiences re which telephone number to call, which day, time of time to tackle this.
Thanks in advance

A good few months to go before you can book it, but if availability is tight, you may need to call at midnight to secure your outbound. The best strategy for this may be dependant on the day your flights are released
If you leave booking your outbound till the morning, you’ll be racing against those who are not constrained by needing to call.
Fingers crossed the phone situation gets better before then
