Hotels.com reward night – can I redeem the full value across multiple nights?

I have a hotels.com reward night to spend, the value is £200+. I’m booking a 3 night stay in 2024 that totals £300 cash via hotels.com, is it possible for me to redeem the full value of my reward night across this 3-night booking or can the single reward “night” only apply to one night? I.e., to get the best value do I need to redeem it on a single night’s stay at a hotel where cash prices exceed £200 per night? Thanks

This is one of the real downsides to hotels.com reward nights. I find it a decent return, but to maximise it requires consistency of hotel spend per night. That’s largely impossible given location is a huge factor in pricing. I tend to have 6 or more reward nights stored up waiting for the right opportunity.

You have to do a bit of calculating and guesswork in advance. Have multiple accounts and if necessary buy some £2 hostel stays in cheap countries
