How do I use BA Barclays Cabin Upgrade Voucher starting EDI?

How do I make a booking using my BA Barclays Cabin Upgrade Voucher when I want to make a booking for EDI -> EWR in BIZ ? It looks like the BA web booking system does cant handle upgrade bookings for med/long haul flignts not starting from LON.

For given dates:
EDI -> EWR: selecting ecomony plus give zero availability or technical error.
LHR -> EWR: lots of availability – select Econ+ and get Biz as expected.
EDI -> LHR: lots of availability – con only select Econ and get Biz.

Even when tring the pay with cash / upgrade with Avios option (same goal, EDI->EWR in Biz), similar problems. Either zero availability, technical error, or “Error: We’re sorry but this flight cannot be upgraded online using Avios. Please call ..blah blah blah”

And then of course, the ” Please call your local British Airways office to upgrade this booking” link gives web page not found link!!!

Barclay upgrade voucher can be used for regional connections. Unfortunately you need to call though.

Indeed, a bit of basic searching on here would have saved you writing that whole post! Call and ask them to book the entire trip – don’t book the long haul then ask to add the connection as BA sometimes tries to charge you extra for doing it that way.
