Just want to check other’s experience of getting credit offer from Amex. I had once waited more than 90days to get credited to my statement but this time I had waited for more than 250 days and still investigating, after confirmed it is a valid purchase by Amex themselves.
Raise a complaint.
Phone the number on the back of your card.
Thanks for the info. I am planning to do that next as I had fed up everytime they said they have to raise a ticket and send email to backend team etc etc that takes 7-10 days to reply each time.
That sounds quite annoying!
I typically only need to wait a few days after the spend “posts” to my recent transactions (i.e. it moves from pending to recent transactions).
Anyone got experience on how long the ‘spend £300, get £75 back’ IHG offer takes to credit? I split a £650 bill with mine and my wife’s credit cards, so hoping for a tidy £150 discount.
…and it arrived today! Not bad after only checking out two days ago.
Have to raise a complaint to get someone to look into it. In the end because it has over 270 days they cant’t even find the original offer in their system!!. They credited me slightly more than the original credit claim as a gesture of goodwill!!….I have escalated the issue with an escalation ID after 2 months! Even recorded on my chat message confirmed by their staff of the claims is valid…made me feels like I am making things up…just make sure you keep proof of the offer!
