Does anyone know how long BA are currently taking to respond to a request for a receipt? I made a request on 7th Nov 24 as I need to get a breakdown of the amount paid and refunded for a cancelled flight for my travel insurance. I have had nothing from them other than the automated acknowledgement saying they’ll respond within 28 days. It’s showing on my feedback claims page but with a status of received. I tried chasing it by using the update existing case feature at the beginning of Jan but I’m wondering how long it’ll realistically take them to respond to this.
I did try trying to get a receipt from the Finnair site as I have seen this suggested elsewhere on the forum but that didn’t work for me unfortunately!

Yes I used the online form originally. I tried calling them earlier this month but the person on the phone I eventually got through to said they couldn’t help and that all I could do is use the online form to chase it up, which I did but have still heard nothing.
I did an online chat with them yesterday and the person on the chat told me they have a big backlog and if I wasn’t happy with the length of time it is taking I should raise it through CEDR… but as I am not claiming any money from them I just want a receipt, I’m not sure that’s an option?
