Quick query, when I’m looking to do a LHR-DFW out and return JFK-LHR, how do I specify the multi-city route on ba.com. It just seems to offer me a return trip to a single destination?

Yes and yes. They won’t charge the telephone booking fee as you can’t do it online. I’ve done this many times.
