Back in April I signed up for Marriott Bonvoy accounts for myself and my hubby through a ‘250 bonus Avios’ link on Head for Points. I can see the 250 miles posted to our MB accounts, but they haven’t found their way into our linked BAEC accounts and I can’t see a way to move them. Can anyone advise please?
You need a minimum of 3000 points to initiate a transfer, and they then transfer at 3:1
Thanks MF176, but I’m not trying to transfer points, only miles (Avios).
The offer was 250 Avios for signing up to Marriott Bonvoy. On the sign up page I had to provide my BAEC account number in order to activate the offer. The bonus ‘miles’ are now sitting in the activity in my MB account, whereas I was expecting them to be credited as Avios to my BAEC account.
There are a couple of comments on the HfP article from people who hadn’t received the promised Avios, but no replies, and unfortunately the article is now closed for comment which is a bit of a shame given the offer was in April and we were told the Avios might take 60 days to appear (which is why I diarised late June to start chasing).
I’ve tried to contact Marriott Bonvoy, but their ‘contact us’ form doesn’t have a topic remotely relevant to my query. Perhaps I should email HfP to see if they can shed any light.
