For anyone heading to the Caribbean/Mexico this week and not up to date with the weather, Beryl is now classed as Cat 4 and “extremely dangerous”. Grenada & Lucia are under a state of emergency this evening and all flights in and out of Barbados are currently cancelled.
Expected to continue on its current path and reach Jamaica/Mexico area by Wednesday/Thursday.
We are in GCM and expecting to be affected but fortunately the island has excellent infrastructure and facilities, especially compared with some of its poorer neighbours.
*Beryl the Peril, perhaps!

@NorthernLass Stay safe, don’t do what we did a few years ago in Antigua which is sit in the pool drinking hurricanes much to the angst of the hotel staff. Sufficed to say we were moved on before either we or the trees started falling over.
