Iberia – lots of flight changes for 2025!

I’ve just had a slew of emails from IB regarding changes and cancellations on my numerous bookings for this year.

Most significant seems to be the change to the MAN-MAD daily flight – this has changed from 11.10 to 19.15. MAD-MAN time has changed from 08.55 to 17.05.

Two things occur to me about this change – firstly if you’ve got a trip to Madrid planned from MAN, you’ll now have nearly a whole extra day in the city. Secondly, if you’ve got an overnight into MAD on a long-haul flight, and need to connect to MAN, the new departure time will probably be a lot more convenient.

Nothing has changed on my two until 3rd week in March so maybe it’s from April onwards.

Very possibly – my trips are in August, September and October. On MAN-MAD flights I’m being given the option to move to BA via LHR, which of course is far less convenient, but they are much more expensive flights and I’d be able to use the (overcrowded) F lounge between segments!

Cheeky blighters are offering me re-booking or a voucher. The poisoned chalice of supping with IB, lol, to mix a couple of metaphors.
