Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

I could probably qualify for bronze with the extended time frame ba have given. But it looks like they can’t see when they’ve done something stupid; so my question is whether people would advise Iberia plus or Qatar privilege? I’m tending towards Qatar… It’s annoying about Qatar flights, but I think I will get in a two leg return journey to India this year, which would meet the 4 segment Qatar requirement right?

Thanks in advance, for any help.

I don’t know the QR scheme that well but when I calculate the EPs earnt on the Iberia scheme it was more generous than QR. So for 25-26 collection year if I was looking to requalify I’d go with IB. However after that for 25-26 we won’t know until 12th Feb when IB announce their changes for Apr 26 onwards. I doubt it will be very nice.

Caveat to all this, you need to look at your flights planned for Apr 25 -Mar 26 and work out which one either gives you status quicker or can achieve higher tier. Generally with IB the sweet spot is either 1500 miles for shorter flights or 3000 miles for longer flights. QR proportion on distance I think whereas IB is segment based
