Hello, I have just booked a trip for my daughter and I from Madrid to Lima next April using 2for1 voucher…We are going to pay for price for my wife, but I’m wondering if I should purchase this ticket now or are Iberia likely to have a sale over Xmas/NY – and do you think id be safe gambling on availability of a biz ticket on the same flight or should i play it safe?? Any advice would be appreciated.
Perhaps look at the current price after avios discount.
Theres not a snowstorm chance in hell that a sale beats IB’s incredibly low points on J and the use of a 241.
Find your exact flights on https://www.google.com/travel/flights/booking and then click to see the typical prices for those flights. That will give you a guide to if they are more expensive than normal or not.
The cheapest option is almost certainly to grab a reward seat for the standard Avios price if you don’t have another 241 to reduce the cost by 50%. IB rewards are excellent value and as Zapato says above, there’s zero chance you could do better than this price in any cash sale.
