A friends company tried developing an app with a developer on £50-100 per day. The app is 3 years late and they’ve had to start again with a new developer.

With IT, you get what you pay for.

I don’t think it’s a surprise that fixing the mess will be expensive and take time. What is a surprise is that they think it won’t need doing sooner rather than later.
