Hi,
I am currently Platinum Elite in the IHG Rewards programme. However, I have not accumulated any stays this year and I am unlikely to, which means that I will lose my status at the end of this year.
Currently, this protects my points from expiry (I was Gold Elite before).
Will my points expire with my status on 1/1/2024 (if I do not do something to extend them) or is there a grace period (e.g. 12 months from when your status gets downgraded)?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Chris
Let me google that for you…

Or this from IHG…

Doesn’t IHG have a soft landing to the tier below? i.e. at the end of 2023 you will drop back to Gold Elite and keep all your points?
