Increased BA luggage allowance

Hi folks

I’m not sure where this best goes but thought I’d mention I flew WTP from LHR to DEL last week and I was slightly overweight (am only Bronze so according to the published policy am only allowed 2 x 23).

However when I had 2 x 24.5 I thought I was in trouble, only for checkin agent (on a self sevice bag drop) to clarify it has recently increased to 2 x 26kg.

Anyone else had similar reports?!

There has been no increase in baggage allowances.
