Has anyone gotten iPass with their hsbc premier MasterCard?

Yes. Works fine, but barely use it. Less good than boingo.

is it a login you get or is it tied to a device?

It’s a login, not tied to your device. I’ve used it extensively on AA flights. You can use it on multiple devices too, but not simultaneously (although sometimes it works).

I use the iPass app on my iPhone and noticed that recently it does not help at all…

In the past, especially in airports, it would automatically log me in the available network.. have tried this time in Qatar, both in the airport and malls and it would not help logging in none of the available WiFi networks.

Ah interesting. I found the app useless on Android. It never connected automatically for me and it felt just like an app to select a wifi which I can do without an app.

Yes I never used the app, only the credentials

I’ve only ever used it on airlines – Singapore Airlines being the main one. If you fly an airline where it works regularly it’s actually a very valuable benefit!

There is an option at Travelodge but I’ve never got it to work
