    Tried many times to book reward flight, BA has also tried on the phone but cannot! Cannot add son to household it goes to the form from the email but then says there is an error try again later.

    If anyone has any advice or a phone number for technical support for Ba that would be hugely appreciated.

    Household accounts have been broken for some time as per the link above, courtesy of the new website infrastructure.

    If BA have tried to book reward flights for you then you’ve already spoken to the people you need to speak to! What did they say or do?

    They put a dummy booking on my account, and said he would watch it until he finishes to see if anything changes. Couldn’t do anything about adding my son. Also couldn’t understand why the reward booking was showing an error and operational support also had no clue! Have sent off a complaint but really want to book my reward flight asap 🙂

    also, I’m trying to add my other son to rewards booking so shouldn’t affect it.

    Having exactly same issues with reward flights right now. Unable to book online (fails after confirming passengers) and agents unable to book on phone too saying they cannot access mine or my partner’s BAC accounts. Weirdly, I can log in and see my Avios balance and transactions fine, but phone agents say my account is not accessible to them. Normal bookings work fine and go through all the way to payment stage. Phone agent has sent an internal email to some other dept at BA requesting they look into it but told not to expect any response for 3-4 days. I have also raised a complaint online to try and speed it up.

    Just got out through to the account people at ba, and they have received an email saying that they expect the reward bookings to be sorted in the next few hours and that it is a problem their end, not with my account. Of course the uk call centre will be closed then so I really hope it is true!

    Good to know I’m not the only one. She said it’s ongoing about adding kids to the account so will have to deal with that bit later on.
