    Hi all

Does anyone have experience of flying on JetBlue mint and AA first within the USA? If so, could you please let me know the pros/cons of both?

Not sure which one I should go for on my next trip from JFK to LAX next week.

    Thank you

Never flown on JetBlue, but if you have OW status you obviously get those benefits on AA.

AA F depends on the route/plane. Ranges from very nice new 737 MAX-type to falling to bits aircraft American Eagle seem to use. Hopefully the former on your route!

AA JFK – LAX is the A321T. Flagship Business (and indeed real Flagship First) with a proper business seat so extremely desirable if you’re intending to be in the front half. Pretty much standard 3+3 Economy further back.

Edit: Having just looked, Jetblue Mint has different 1+1 and 2+2 seat layouts, so aircraft type comes in to play there as well.

Right now I have a booking on both flights.

AA First, seat 1F on the AA3 which seems to be operated on A321’s, about 11 years old.

B6 Mint, seat 1F on B6 2223 which is generally operated on A321-271NX although every now and then there the odd A321. The 271NX are very new (1 year old), the A321 9 years old.

    Which should I go for?

So you’re not getting free bags/lounge via OW? I’d probably try Mint, just to see how it compares!

If AA is flagship first as https://www.aerolopa.com/aa-a321t I’d go with this.
