I posted this last week in Flyer talk but sadly with zero responses.
What I observe is that all flights out to January from LHR-AUH have gone 500k+ points rather than what was there a day before of a few like that and the rest 120k/140k.
Andy ideas ?
In the last week or so, every day in the October to December window has moved from circa 120/140k to 500k plus to upgrade a ticket. The return, which had less availability at the 120/140k level has jumped to nearly 500k.
Clearly, there has not been some huge wave of bookings to move the market for every day so what is Etihad doing and will they wind it back ?
