I’ve done it! Or so I thought after 10 years of consecutive diamond and 2M base points I called Hilton Honours to ask why I was not a lifetime diamond to be told that a) I had only completed 520 stays out of 1000 and the 2M cannot include bonus points and that I am still 1M points away????? I live in the uk am I feel I have been conned, can any fellow travellers assist?

Rules are pretty clear on this.
10y of diamond is the easiest condition.

Of course, on a literal interpretation the 10 years cannot be consecutive. On that one they might forgive you…. The other two rules just need to be read to be understood.

The Hilton guidance on this seem fairly clearly written here: https://help.hilton.com/s/article/How-do-I-become-a-Lifetime-Diamond-Member

To be a Lifetime Diamond Member, you must earn Hilton Diamond status for 10 (non-consecutive) years and complete 1 additional milestone:

    * Complete stays totaling 1,000 paid and reward nights
    * Earn 2 million base Points

Except it should be “1000 paid OR reward nights” as no night can be both paid and reward…

Hilton really needs a tier above Diamond.
How would they differentiate between someone like mrtuk2024 and an Aspire credit card freebie?
Diamond alone is becoming a joke.

No please, don’t say that. I’ve been Diamond at Hilton for years (possibly even 10 years) and can’t remember when I last paid to stay …

You have not been conned if the stated stays and points are correct, you’ve simply not met the clear published requirements.
