Limit transfer

Hi all,

I know Amex will transfer limits between cards, however is there any difference when trying to transfer some limit value from a BA card over to a platinum for example?

For 2 years Amex have refused me an up in my Gold limit which sits at a restricting £2.5k, yet approved me for a BAPP card around month ago for +£8k.

They called it credit reallocation or something. You should be able to move the limits from a BA card to the Platinum or the reverse. I was told you just had to keep it above the minimum amount they had set for each CC.
