So I just did a lounge hop from
Qantas to Cathay as the breakfast at Qantas really was not very good. I am sure BA dislike this but have they ever been known to complain about it?

What can they complain about? Might be a cost issue (no idea / someone will) but you’re not breaking any rules.

I don’t think any of the OW airlines are happy about lounge hopping at T3. It’s not just a BA issue.

I doubt all the airlines are unhappy. BA probably are, because their lounges are obviously worse than the alternatives. AA probably for similar reasons. But if they’re unhappy because they’re losing money, CX and QF should be happy becuase they’re making money from all the BA and AA passengers who know they have a choice.

    SkyTeam did something similar?

I don’t see that happening until T3 is knocked down. The hypothetical OW lounge would of course need to occupy the same amount of space as at least three of the current lounges, which are not connectable to each other in the current building. Maybe BA doesn’t care but CX and QF would want to ensure it meets their needs as well as their current lounges, so…
