Good Evening All,
We will be flying LH Economy via FRA T1 with friends. My wife and I both have an Amex Plat. Usually, when transiting FRA, my wife and I would head to the LH Business Lounge nearest our gate and enter using our respective Amex Plats. Does anyone know whether we can take a guest each, and if so how much it might cost?
The Amex website is fairly vague, “Certain locations will allow guests for a fee.”, and the link provided to the LH website is not clear either.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
TIA
I feel like there’s two aspects to this question. One is the can I pay and how much. The other is more of a Dear Mary politeness question over what to do when travelling with friends who aren’t in the benefits game. I have a feeling the second aspect may end up being more important and said friends will either feel shafted or feel robbed (cos they’ll be tagging a specific monetary value). Not to mention the further complication of the guest charge presumably having to be levied against your Amex cards so there’s the messy business of getting repaid.
@Blair Waldorf Salad – the second point is a good point. In this instance we plan to take care of the charges (assuming we can). Ideally without our friends knowing they existed in the first instance.

Quite a few lounges, but the ones I looked at do not permit guests.
Thanks @PhantomChickenz… looks like we’ll be using the PP lounge.
