Marriott Amex card, free night voucher when spending £25,000

Just about to hit the 25k spend on my Marriott Amex card when the pending charge posts I’ll of hit it , (card taken out March this year ) how long does it take for the Marriott free voucher to credit to my bonvoy account , do I have to wait the whole year from when account opened or will I get it

It will post relatively soon (days to a week or so I think) – you certainly don’t have to wait for your card year end.

Only triggered it once, a few years ago – it’s not something I aim for. If it was a 50k voucher like some of the US cards then maybe….

It can land as soon as the day after in my experience. There might be a delay in you actually getting an email about it from Amex, but it’ll be in your Bonvoy account very quickly after you hit the spend.

It’s easy to see online and easy to use – it will automatically show as an option when trying to book a reward night up to 40,000 points (since you can do a 15,000 points top-up).
