Hello,
I want to book a hotel in Germany and it is included in the list of hotels for this offer. But when I try to book it, it is always in EUR. The offer states you have to pay in GBP. How do I do this? Is it even possible?
Thank you in advance.
Amex will convert the Euro cost to ££££ on your statement. This is the number that will be used to trigger the offer…..

Oh, I am so silly! The offer T&Cs says that the payment must be *settled* in GBP. So I can pay in EUR and it’ll convert to GBP, which it’ll be settled in. Plus the 2.99% transaction fee.
Thank you!

Exactly. Just make sure you dont miss out on triggering the offer for the sake of a few Euros, once the FX conversion is done….
For a £300 offer i’d want the spend to be closer to 400 Euros for peace of mind. This tends to be more relevant if you have the offer on multiple cards so are splitting a bill at checkout….
