Looking for BA flown short haul options for May 2025…
One option is Cyprus and the Olympic Lagoon Hotel in Ayia Napa… anyone stayed there?
Any other tips of warm/hot beach options for May would be fantastic 🙂
For guaranteed sunshine in May in Europe probably Canaries, followed by the south of Spain. Cyprus is probably the next best option after those. Sea might be a bit cold though.
Canaries are an option too… Malaga nice and warm then too?

Ayia Napa is very much a party town full of English tourists. I have just returned from a BA holiday @ Sunrise Jade Hotel, Protaras which is 10km away but a haven of peace and quiet. It is adult only – it all depends what you are looking for of course.
Worth seeing prices on BA holidays, you get extra Avios and double tier points. It may make up for the flights, spending 4+ hours on a small plane with no food or inferior business class.
A very good 5* Boutique hotel is the Almyra on the edge of Paphos, which should be well priced in May too. BA holidays do it but unlikely to be the cheapest option
