I’ve read a few threads about the new Melia app. Is anyone else just not seeing the usual x3 20% vouchers for Amex Platinum at all? For me they usually appear in January but there’s just nothing under promotions to find.
What I’d love to understand is – has anyone worked out a way round this or had any success phoning either Melia or a hotel directly to fix this?
I am planning to take my sister and brother away for a special family trip in September and just assumed this would be as easy as it has always been in the past…Thanks
CMOn iPhone app, from the Home Screen, click the first icon on right for my account.
Check if it shows your status as gold.
Then scroll down, click on promotions.
You should see the 20% discount voucher.
Expand it and it’ll give you the code.If you have other promotions, maybe scroll all the way down to check?
I guess the only other option is to contact customer support.
Every year during the switchover of a membership year there is a period that the 20% vouchers disappear before coming back into the account.
You can either wait or if needing to book now, call Melia and calculate the price from the app with a further 20% off as customer service will match.
