I have a flight using a companion voucher to EZE which has been cancelled due to being rerouted via Rio. The return is from Santiago and this has a different reference number. However when I booked the return the agent said she had merged the split Avios bookings so I would be able to treat it as a single booking. I am able to change the outward journey but BA have just said this doesn’t entitle me to change the return. Is this correct? Thank you for your assistance.
If you always had two booking references then the two were probably linked but not merged. If they were not merged into one ticket I can see why they are taking this stance.
