Miles & More Status match and Seat Bookings

Hi All

I did a status match from BA to M&M and now Senator status. I booked 2 weeks a flight and I can see it in my booking, but they want to charge for booking seats. The chat at Lufthansa says I need to contact M&M, it’s not their issue.

Anyone else experienced this?
