    Booked a JAL domestic flight using avios over 24 hours ago and note that I have not received a booking email from BA.

    Slightly worrying as I didn’t save the booking reference that appeared after I paid so I have no way to find this booking again (it’s also not under manage my bookings either and I confirm the -7500 avios has hit my account)

    Anyone have ideas on whether this delay is normal or if I’d have to go to a call agent to get my booking reference?

    One of the flights booked yesterday is not showing under my bookings. I did receive an email, but several hours later. I do have a booking reference as I took a screenshot, but it does seem that is linked to recent BA IT meltdown. If you call they might be able to track it down for you.

    Depending on which credit card you used for any fees the booking ref or ticket number may appear as part of the transaction and that can be an ‘in’ to the booking.

    I assume you’ve checked your email spam folder?

    But always make a note of the booking reference the minute it appears on the screen just in case of email problems.

    Unfortunately (or fortunately) I paid 7500 avios and 0.00 taxes for this flight (so nothing on card)

    Looks like it’ll be a call as it’s been over 48 hours and still nothing.
