Just submitted a claim for missing points – KLM cash flight EDI-BCN via AMS 7 weeks ago. The return was on Air France and points were credited soon after my return.
I claimed both legs separately and received an ‘Oops something went wrong’ message both times.
However, the flights are now listed in my virgin account but showing 0 points/0 tier points.
Should I expect them to adjust the points to the correct values or am I going to have to call them?
TIA
Are you sure that the KLM booking class qualified for VS points? Many do not such as class O
Substitute the V for whatever class your ticket was in the following and you’ll see what was due

Dave, many thanks for that. It was class X outbound which is apparently worth nothing so that explains it. Never occurred to me.
I ended up phoning VS as it took ages for my post to get moderated and spent about an hour mostly being put on hold by a polite but confused sounding woman who eventually told me that they’d emailed another dept about it and I should expect my points within 7 days 🙂

It really sucks when that happens I paid for a business class ticket on Avianca earlier this year and the F class didn’t even credit to their own program, never mind United’s
