Came here to post about this. I noticed it about an hour ago when I was inside Sainsbury’s. Saved it and already got the first 100NP as well as a 5x points promo when spending at least £40. So rather useful promo. And yes just spending £1 works.

It is on the Home tab immediately below the bit of the Nectar app where you see your points balance.
Do not normally shop there so it’ll be 5x different transactions at self check out at a quiet time.
