Meh. Who needs the Costa Smeralda and the Uffizi when you can head off to Benidorm and Torremolinos from MAN and LPL?! And treat yourself to the UK’s worst airport lounges to start the holiday in style.

Tried calling. Very helpfull agent.Although he could see the seats available, system wouldnt let him price it up.
He also assured me a Barclays upgrade voucher would be valid on this Cityflyer route.

Everything’s welcome but with the aircraft based in EDI I think it would be better if they offered us something year-round or at least winter/summer seasonal instead of all these short-term bitsy routes. I would like to use both of these but the short seasons render this impossible due to existing travel plans.

What more do you expect from London Airways? ;P

Thankfully, EDI and GLA are well served by easyJet who, IMO, offer a superior product to BA’s non-cityflyer product with not only more leg-room, but if you want a ‘Club Europe’ in-flight experience, simply pay for the cost of the middle seat (more often significantly cheaper than a CE fare!)

The aircraft and crew are all LCY based. They just do these EDI flights during off peak times or when LCY is shut and the aircraft would otherwise be idle at EDI waiting to head south on Sunday
