Following on from Matlo’s good work I have also started creating a portal for searching reward flights starting with Virgin but will eventually do as many airlines, hotels and joint searches (eg holidays) as possible.
For starters, I see it as a social experiment between the community to try and extract good value from all these points we all collect with the hope we get some good deals out of it.
Current features
– Search Virgin one way availability
– Find cheapest Virgin origin and destination pair for all cabin classes
– Look at history of a particular day including price and seat movement
– On the search result page quickly see the cheapest day and class for your search
– See the real time streaming of the changes from Virgin
– See the most popular routes for amount of changes across the last 30 days for price and seatsThere is a Discord chat service available to talk features (not general points stuff, that’s for here) and hopefully its useful in the future.

Good work! To me, the historical points history is most useful (it took me a second on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/138.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 to find the hint showing that I click each cabin to find historical pricing.
One thing that will always be a challenge, if/until there is some form of real-time update from Deltamatic or a GDS, is that the true value may be different from the published one – which is, frankly, annoying, but out of anyone’s hands.
