Hi everyone, I am going to NY in two weeks time with a friend who has never been. I’ve currently booked the Melia, have stayed there before and have Gold status through Amex Platinum. I have been thinking about whether this is the best location for a first trip and have come across the Grayson. This I think is a better location by Bryant Park and comes out at about the same price with a smaller resort fee. I don’t have any status in Hyatt, although I have never really had Gold with Melia recognised!
The one thing holding me back is reviews say the room size is quite small, we would have a room with two doubles. Has anyone stayed at both and can compare? Or anything else that I should be thinking about?
I do think around the Grayson is a better location.
Have a close look at the photos of the double room and see if it’s manageable.
