I am trying to gauge whether to buy regular tickets for a show at the O2 or wait for the Qatar NinetyThird auction and try to win tickets that way. Is anyone willing to share prices at which they have won tickets for the NinetyThird (and which shows they were for)?
Some of the auctions seem to go for mid to high twenties. There’s a Pulp gig ending tonight which is on 82,000 avios and I feel you could fly quite a long way to see Pulp for that.
I don’t think it’s possible to accurately predict what a particular act might go for but good luck.
What’s frustrating is that because of the closing time (very late) no-one is ever up to see what happens last minute and they never publish the winning bids. With Marriott the listing stays up.
At least it’s midnight. I don’t really understand why Hilton have chosen to end auctions for Wembley football games at 4 in the morning.
I agree that it’s annoying that you can’t see what the Qatar auctions go for. As an amateur watcher, I’d say they often don’t change that much in the last half hour.
