No Amex confirmation email or anything after applying

Hi all,

So I applied for the (hopefully) 70k bonus BAPP card yesterday. All checks passed OK, said it is now pending approval. This was yesterday morning. Not sure what that meant, so I called them and said all is OK, just processing so I said fine.

24 hours later, still no email or anything that I even applied or a reference number or anything.

Is this normal? Feels very lacklustre to not even get an automated mail or anything – is something up?

I also didn’t get anything by email. The first thing I knew about it was the card in the post. And then I didn’t get the 70k. I hope you have better luck. They’re useless.

I got a mail about an hour ago it seems that it’s accepted. I’ll just have to see how the offer turns up. I followed the 70k link and was logged in on the BA site prior to doing it, in one transaction on MS Edge.. we’ll see!
