I’m currently locked out of my account and made three requests for verification codes but didn’t receive any of them. Then it said too many codes requested.
I called Silver line and was eventually told to wait 24 hours as they cannot send verification codes due to a technical issue. After 24 hours I can try to request a code again.
So just tough if I want to book any reward flights. I can’t even log in to complain!
I know it’s been said many times before but I really do despair of BA IT.Have you tried another device? A few months ago I got the locked out message on my laptop but could log in no problem on my phone and the laptop issue seemed to resolve itself without having the pain of interacting with BA (though Silver line are pretty good)!

Got an email saying that for security reasons my account is locked.
Went online and you get the option to send an sms or email. None arrived after I select either option.
I eventually got 2 emails hours later but then was told the code had expired.
This doesn’t affect my flights or anything (can still use MMB). But if I had to book with avios now I would be in trouble (I suppose would need to do over the phone but cannot check availability).
I can’t log in on phone, laptop or iPad. I was told I can’t even book by phone as my account is locked. I’m not convinced the offshore call centre really understood my issue.
I also had this and code came an hour later which had expired. Just tried again and have got code and logged in fine, suspect it was a bulk email and everyone tried to get the code at once which delayed their systems. Worth trying again
I’m finally back in. The text verification code still not arriving but the email one did.
