No Accor points for a ibis Budget stay?

Recently stayed at an Ibis Budget in Manchester. Is it correct you earn no points for Ibis Budget stays? Contacted Accor on Twitter and they stated the hotel was not eligible for earning points.
I was hoping to keep my balance of points alive but they will expire next month due to no activity.
