Our Heathrow flight to Venice next week was cancelled. Now we’re on the Iberia Express flight from Gatwick. We’re in club, we haven’t been assigned seats yet and there are no seats available. There are only 12 seats in club. We are lowly bronzes. Should we worry or will it sort itself out? Being downgraded would not be manageable, not being on the flight would be very annoying.
With apologies if this topic has been addressed two hundred times today already.
This is a BA flight (although operated by IBEX) which probably means they haven’t released row 1 yet. Don’t worry about it for now, but try and choose seats as soon as possible after 24 hours before the flight.
Thank you. I will be ready and waiting at +24.
I’m not sure what they’re doing with these IBEX flights but try 72hrs before as well
Not sure what flight you are on (you don’t have to tell us!) but Thursday and Saturday row 1 is blocked – they should release at T-72hrs
