I’m a 1000 points away from a redemption I want, other than doing a spend on The business BA AMEX for them, is there any other way to quickly obtain the points?

Find friends who have (very recently) flown BA/IB, without kids, and didn’t use a corporate travel agent. Get their flight deets and add a retro claim.
